Suppose you are planning project delivery from June 1, 2026 to June 30, 2026 (inclusive) on a standard 5-day work week with 2 statutory public holidays.
Step-by-Step Calculation
- Total Calendar Days in June = 30 days.
- Identify weekend days: June 2026 contains 4 Saturdays and 4 Sundays = 8 weekend days.
- Gross work days = 30 - 8 = 22 days.
- Deduct 2 public holidays: 22 - 2 = 20 Net Working Days.
- Compute total billable capacity at 8 hours/day: 20 × 8 = 160 Working Hours.
